Current music:nothing...my sister BROKE my hard drive with all my music on it

So, I WAS going to do a huge, epic update about the concert.
Except, now that's going to have to wait until tomorrow. Because my sister is possibly ruining a serious career opportunity for me next year, because she can't handle having her bitchy sister in vaguely the same vicinity as her.

So. I seriously, SERIOUSLY need some comfort fic. Preferably of the Frank/Gerard variety. REC AWAY, GUYS. PLEASE, I'M BEGGING HERE. *sad puppy eyes* I can't find stuff I haven't already read.

PS Sorry for all the angst, new bandom friends :\ I enjoyed meeting/hanging out with you guys!

Your sister has some diva issues. I like her well enough, but right now she's completely ridiculous! I hope to god she's on her period or something, because that is the ONLY excuse to be so mean-pants.

Ok, you remember who "alien" is, right? Well, it's just...ugh. I don't know. I can feel myself being stupid about it all, but I can't stop, and I'm just fucking things up again. As usual.

Oh, btw, I had this bad dream last night where Group was hanging out at Alex's house and I was being this awful friend because I was in a bad mood and not talking and just frowning and reading the newspaper (which had pron in it?!?) and then Alex confronted me, and said that "you know, you're not being a very good friend right now. I mean" and then she went on to describe the ways I was being a shit friend, and how I wasn't there for her and stuff. :( woes. I woke up and cried for a little while!! do you think I'm a bad friend?

- Crossover with Firefly. I don't know if you seen it, but I think you could still appreciate this fic if you haven't; Nine, Jack, and Rose are all incredibly well-written (as are the Firefly characters).

- Adorable and very well-written fic set during The Christmas Invasion in which Rose starts to get used to the New New Doctor ;)

Chaos Theory in Vortex Orbits in Relative Dimensions in Time and Space (1/26) by [info]earlgreytea68 [Ten/Rose, Teen]
- NB: This is a WIP. BUT TOTALLY WORTH IT, OMG. BEST BABY!FIC EVER WRITTEN IN ANY FANDOM EVER. Trufax. We are up to chapter eighteen, and I AM LOVING IT. LOTS.

Aurora, Dancing (SERIES) by aerotica [Jack/Rose, Nine/Rose/Jack, Adult]
- A lovely series in which Jack and Rose do sexy things together and then decide that the Doctor needs to get on the sexy things. Being as they are Jack and Rose, they get their way. Eventually.

Via the Void by Little Witch [Jack/Rose with bonus Ten/Rose, Teen]
- Another one of my all-time favorites. A reunion!fic that plays off of Jack's missing two years' worth of memories and feeds into the whole story with the Master and oh man do I love this fic.

AND. If you have seen Blackpool or are willing to see it so that you can appreciate the awesomeness of this series (and really, why pass up David Tennant SINGING THINGS anyway?), [info]jlrpuck has written (a) the fic "The Way of Things" and a host of vignettes to follow it chronicling the relationship between Rose (in the parallel world post-Doomsday) and David's character from Blackpool, Peter Carlisle. When I first saw the summary, I went "Rose and PETER? WHAT?" And then I read the fic and SRSLY, DUDE. Links to the whole thing, from "The Way of Things" to all associated fics (including a few written by other authors [info]jlrpuck kindly allowed to play in her sandbox) are listed, in incredibly convienent chronological order here: The Order of Things

It all depends on how convincable the people she talks to are. Mitch, the tech guy, seemed pretty determined to get me to work with him, no matter what Devon says, but she's really close to with Jacie, the director of YPC, so. We'll see.

I should think the combination of burgundy and purple would just result in a general air of opulence. They're very royal colors. (The skirt is a sort of deep plum, right?) Of course, I'd have to see the actual shades to make a real judgement. And what other colors is Graham wearing?
